The NFC's Road to Arizona

How 'bout Dem' Cowboys!!! Me about 18 weeks ago after the 45-35 shoot-out with the Giants in which the Cowboys opened the season. It served as a prelude to things that would come in the '07 regular season. It began to look similar to the Eagles 2004 13-3 season (which also started with a rout of the Giants). The 2004 Eagles started with some early, convincing wins against division rivals and NFC competitors. T.O. was a TD away from breaking the Eagles single season receiving record before getting injured by Roy Williams' trademark tackle. Owens went into his hyperbolic chamber to heal the hurt leg. The story ends with a vindictive comment by McNugget (we don't need T.O. to win), Owens returns as a "Hero" the SuperBow... The Big Game. A 3 point loss to the Patriots made Iggles fan think there were things to come in '05. Back to '07 Romo rising... convincing early wins... Owens ties then breaks team records, injures leg (coincidently in a game where Roy Williams is serving suspension for his trademark tackle) headed to chamber... Cowboys end 13-3, the parallels are stark! Like Philadelphia before, Dallas is the path to the Big Game. Let's just hope history repeats itself to an extent. Just don't say you can win without Owens.

Straight From the Fanbots Mouth!

Just tooling aroung the usual Blogs (Joystiq:Fanboy Heaven, Xbox360fanboy, ps3fanboy...) when I see a post I found interesting. You see, there's this console war thing going on and apparently XBox (the leading faction) gets the benefit of the doubt despite it's high failure rate. Here's some reasons why... A. It's been out longer, B. People have spent their hard earned money and invested in it's games, C. Users are also deeply vested in its community and easy user interface, D. This community enjoys their industry standard games (circa 2007, who knows what tricks are to come from the the other sides of the war in '08). So naturally upon the release of a competitor, fans of the Xbox criticized the enemy (Playstation 3) out of the gate, and voice their displeasure for a system they have never played... just heard about... from a friend... on the internets... that they've never seen...
Okay so here is the guy's read on the current console wars:
